Slow Train – A musical evolution?

Slow Train is a song I originally wrote back in 1991, that is very close to my heart. It is all about the struggle of following your passions (music in my case) versus being dragged into all the regular life pressures (…the Slow Train of death!).

This playlist puts on display the evolution from writing music with a 4 track cassette recorder with live sax and vocals in 1991, through to a 2016 Deep House mix I did, still with my vocals, but now using a Sax sample, through to the ‘wonders’ of AI and a Suno-generated version in 2024 with my lyrics and prompt as a guide.
