What a weird year! And quite happy to see the back end of that.
I started off the year in recovery mode after PC surgery, and I suppose, having reached the end of the year with 100% all clear on that front, that’s cause for some celebration.
I also started the year as I was hoping to continue it…with a live gig on New Year’s Day (which was a lot of fun!), but unfortunately the gig-flow was seriously slow this year. I did get in a fund-raiser event and my annual Burning Man music opportunities so it wasn’t all lost. Here’s a little video montage of the fun had playing Live:
And my weekly releases of the rough mix of finished tracks (my R.A.W. series) was once more a lot of fun to put together and also the source of any new material for my live sets. Typically of the 50 tracks I finish a year, about 8 make it onto my live set-list (for further development as I check them out jammed live!):
So, I still generated plenty of new material last year, I just didn’t get too much time to road test the new stuff.
Oh well, there’s a 365day runway ahead to definitely get some lift off.
