Right, we have 61 days left in 2025 and I have to finish 21 tracks to make my annual target of 50 tracks (That’s a track a week with a 2 week ‘holiday’).
Since 2021, I have been producing my R.A.W. series of releases – a Release A Week, to Bandcamp of whatever I am working on at the time – they certainly are RAW, with no final mixing and arranging done, but they are ‘finished enough’ that I am pretty clear on what the track is all about. BUT, this year I am way behind with few days to go, so it’s time to think outside the box a bit. The plan will be to Live Stream an improvised Jam on each new track 3 times a week… 8 weeks at 3x a week = 24 tracks! KPI met!!
This way I get my tracks done in quick time, and also hone the live performance process as I can test new set-ups and ideas on the fly – all under the pressure of a live stream!! Watch the socials (FB, YT and IG) for live streams and Reels (IG).
Last month we (the Cirque de Nuit crew), put on our 4th event – Midnight Masquerade. As always the community crew really brought an amazing energy and support! Always good to get out and perform some of my new music with the crew. At full flight – first outing with the 88-key Yamaha beast! A beauty to play, but a bitch to transport!
Ok – that’s it for the October update. Time to get down to completely my final tracks for the year.
