We’re here – Madrid! ¡Arriba, arriba!
September was a write off with my music studio needing to get the most dramatic conversion therapy and be converted into a Home Office (I get stressed just writing that!), my live rig hobbled back to a size that we can travel with, and generally just a whole bunch of Air BnB prep needed to get our apartment ready for my patrons who keep me in the way I am accustomed…aka our Air BnB guests.
Still, I managed to keep up my weekly releases and am well on track to crank out my 50 tracks for 2026 by year end.
So what’s the plan for my music while in Madrid?
Of course I am always on the hunt for an opportunity to do what I most like to do and that’s play live and that plan is well underway….but as always, with uncertain outcomes. So…..apart from that, I’m going to play one of my old musical games that I call #20TracksIn20.
#20TracksIn20, is where I do a live stream production every (working) day for the month which gives 20 Live streams (with 3 days grace). This time I am going to put an added ‘rule’ to the game and I will also need to take the best stream from the previous week and either release that as-is to BandCamp (as part of my R.A.W. series), or release a very-slightly reproduced version of it. My past experience is the next version is the untouched live stream, but we shall see.
